Petit mix de Dj Cut Killer dans son emission sur Skyrock Il est des personnages emblématiques du Hip Hop qui font figure de modèle auprès de lancienne comme de la nouvelle génération. Cut Killer fait partie de l’un de ces précurseurs du mouvement Hip Hop en France. Passionné de musique, ses goûts sont d’abord assez éclectiques, il écoute tant Génésis que James Brown avec comme principal intérêt les sons de batterie. Une addiction au beat qui trouve tout naturellement son exutoire quand le Hip Hop débarque sur les ondes pionnières de Radio 7. C’est porté par les émissions de Dee Nasty et Sidney ainsi que par les bonnes vibes des soirées dans la boîte interpole du quartier et, plus tard, au Globo que Cut Killer s’oriente vers le Hip Hop. Mais il faudra attendre la venue un soir de DJ Cash Money, figure tutélaire du Dee Jaying, pour qu’il choisisse son arme de prédilection : une paire de platines.
